The first of thhe weather idents. After showing this to Tom he say that he will share this with Lia to see if it usable.

This took 8 hours to complete and overall I am quite impressed with how it turned out. The night to day transition could afford to go a little more seemless though.

Could take some trial and error with the opacity settings.

Rather than using a colour adjustment layer in aftereffects the transitions between day and night were done with two separate cels one darker and one lighter as it is the method I used in my projects using traditional animation and I was more comfortable with getting the desired effect through this method.

Though in practice it would probably be best to practice colour adjustment layers as it is a more diverse method and has room for quick adjustments.
