Weather Bumpers
Following on from last year I was given the task of coming up with ideas to make the weather report more interesting, my favorite idea was to make some weather idents or bumpers that would incorporate the stations sponsor into the short like many big time stations do rather than having the sponsors just slapped on like an afterthought-not very professional.

However, the verdict was that doing this would require someone to put in the time and effort and since no such personnel were available, the plan fell through.

Now after my formal training in Photoshop and Adobe AfterEffects I am confident that I am able to take on such a role myself.

These idents are quite fascinating and enjoyable. I like the idea of having the logo on a curtain in the background.

Produced by Lambie-Nairn responsible for the famous BBC2 bumpers. These bumpers are very creative both visually and for the music making them stand out and are quite memorable according to the comments. However, budget is likely to be an issue for a small scale production.

Simplistic and incorporates both themes of the weather and the company. I think this is what I can realistically aim for.
